Lake Washington

About this Location
Lake Washington is actually a system of lakes and bays that winds around the city of Seattle including Lake Union, Portage Bay, Union Bay, and the Lake Washington Ship Canal. It is an active aquatic recreation community, hosting rowers, canoers, kayakers, water skiiers, swimmers and fishermen. The lake is also home to a lively population of yachters and sailers who use Lake Washington as a conduit to access the Puget Sound and Pacific Ocean by means of the Ballard Locks.
