I started rowing in college as a walk on at St. Joe's. I did not play sports in high school unless you count P.E. class, where I walked the mile and ducked behind the bleachers to smoke.
I've been rowing for nine years and I've only been seat raced twice in my life, once in a four, the other time in an eight. I won both times.
I am very close to finished my law degree at Rutgers-Camden school of law, though I've been on the super extended plan. I love rowing, but I do have other plans for my life. So do my creditors. :)
