Well, here we are. It’s fall, and that means it’s head racing season. I’m still pretty new to the whole “sign yourself up for regattas” thing, since I’ve always just been told to show up somewhere and race without having to do any leg work.

USA W8+

The women's eight won their rep and will be moving on to the semi-finals.

U.S. W4-

The U.S. women's four placed third last year in Eton and they have three members of that boat in this line-up.

U.S. W4x

The U.S. women's quad of (str)Ellen Tomek, Christen Brown, Liane Malcos, Lia Pernell come from all over the country but have one goal in Munich.

U.S. ML8+ and LM4x

The U.S. lightweight men fine tune their starts with a little side by side piece.

LM8+(cox)Leigh Heyman, Will Daly, John Nichols, Andrew Diebold, Jeff Forrester, Greg Ruckman, Tyler Resch, Gavin Frase, Tim Larson

U.S. M2- and LM2-

The men's lightweight and heavyweight pairs took to the course in the morning for a couple laps before the rest of the international crew arrived.

U.S. M4+ and M4-

The course can get crowded sometimes, so it's nice when you can go for a swing row with other boats on your team. The men's coxed four and straight four take it down their lanes.
4- Beau Hoopman, Byran Volpenhein, Giuseppe Lanzone, Matt Schnobrich
4+ Ned DelGuercio (c), Chris Liwski, Sam Burns, Dan Beery, Matt Deakin
