Super Bad Pretty Good
Oh yes, I saw it. Managed to squeeze it in a few hours before leaving for worlds. And I gotta say...I more than chuckled.
Judd Apatow, the dude who's blessed us with "40-year-old virgin" and "Knocked Up," does it again. This time he uses a cast of:
1) The son from arrested development,
2) Jonah, from Knocked Up (more fondly known as the guy who had his face buried in boobies for 13 hours in Grandma's Boy)
3) Some guy named Mintz-Plasse, who I've never seen before but makes a great "nerd who thinks he's cool." McLovin, for those who have seen the trailer.
So he uses these guys and takes the age-old story of "three teenage dudes who are about to graduate and really want to get laid before they go to college" and makes it his own (i.e. a plethora of genitalia jokes, yes!). It's like American Pie meets Revenge of the Nerds where the nerds are adolescent versions of Cartman, Eric, and Stan.
It's rude, crude, debaucherous, and it really makes you want to go over to your best friend's house and eat pizza bagels. Just hope nobody uses you leg as a tampon in the meantime.*
Watch it. You'll thank me. Unless you're rude. I gotta go row.
*You'll understand if you watch it. If you don't, this will probably just eat at your brain for the rest of the week. No big deal.
