Disaster in the Plaguelands

It is worse than expected. The BHLA confirmed the whereabouts of our oft discussed cohort, but upon attempting to recover said cohort realized that he in no way desired to be rescued from his seemingly imminent peril. In no way prepared for this development, and facing complete annihilation, BHLA ran away. Being completely unfamiliar with this terrain, forces stumbled through lands occupied by orcgoblins, unicorarchmages, elfdwarves, and other such drivel. Truly, more than any flag-waving normal person could bear.
The majority of BHLA forces eventually found their way back to some nonsensical place called the Searing Gorge [of which we're likely to hear more about later]. The enemy acquired one POW, who is most likely being subjected to endless gold gathering frivolity and spell casting polemics. Think Guantanamo holding cell with a lot fewer terrorists and a lot more cheese doodles. Chilling, indeed. Another BHLA regiment, ignorant of dial-up connection, cooperative gaming, and software in general, still remains unaccounted for.
For the rest of us, we have begun work on a countermeasure virus which upon endless spamming episodes should render the enemy useless during forthcoming attacks. Think Japanese war propaganda with a lot less Tojo and a lot more discounted viagra. Devastating, I know. We will see.

The Enemy sits poised on the Arathi Highlands looking out across the Thandol Span at our forces encamped in the Iron Forge and around Loch Modan. at this moment it appears that they will not be able to cross the Thandol Span lest their Diodes become water-logged. We must take measures to stop the relentless advance of our enemies. For now we are secure, but the American Army felt secure looking out over the Yalu river when the Chinese Horde crossed it. (Just ask Colonel Nash) If We're not careful they will have us pushed back all the way to Booty Bay. As we lick our wounds everyone should make sure that their Mana is full. We need to research new spells and maybe spend some of that gold replenishing our stores. Right now I estimate our chances of success at 32.3% (the 3 is repeating of course). If we establish a link with our lost regiment our chances should increase to 42.675%.
