Lake Sammamish
About this Location
Lake Sammamish is the second largest lake in King County, located on the Eastside of the Seattle metropolitan community. The eight-mile long lake is connected to Lake Washington by means of the Sammamish River. Sammamish is an extremely active recreational site, home to fishermen, rowers and other water sports enthusiasts; a large portion of the lake's shoreline is controlled by the Washington State Park system (Sammamish State Park).
