Australia M8+

James Tomkins has moved from seven to stroke seat and the Australians look to be in good form for the the weekend.

Great Britain M4-

The British four has lost one race since the 2004 Olympics and that came at Lucerne just last month. They are the top ranked crew moving into a final which promises to be tight.

Netherlands M4-

Geert Cirkel, Matthijs Vellenga, Jan-Willem Gabriels, Gijs Vermeulen have made it into the finals after taking second to New Zealand in the semifinal.


Australia LM4-

Australia was only 1 second out of third place but will have to settle for the B final this year.

Netherlands LM4-

The Dutch light four was fifth in their semi-final and will race in the B final to qualify for an Olympic spot.

Germany M4x

The German quad has undergone some changes since Lucerne and it appears to have paid off with a win in the heats.

The Italian quad always shows pretty good speed and they demonstrated this by winning their heat.

Czech Republic M4x

Petr Vitasek, Tomas Karas, Jakub Hanak, David Jirka won their heat and have a spot in the semi-finals.


Russia M4x

The Russian won Lucerne but was second to Italy in their heat.
