U 23 Championships
Looks like the Men's 8+ and the Women's 4x had a good first day. You can see results here at World Rowing. How do you think our squad will do? Either way, Good Luck U23's!
When Cheerleading isn't enough
Through our e-mail, coxpodcast@gmail.com, Marcus and I have been answering quite a few e-mails and now we are going to share some of them that we think will help everyone else. This question deals with coxswain involvement with practice.
Seattle Shows the Women's Team a Good Time
I love the west coast and especially Seattle. So much in fact that people think I grew up from Seattle. This week I got to show my team what Seattle has to offer. So Anna Mickelson and myself worked all of our contacts and we put together a jam packed week for our girls.
Day 1--Row--4x20 min. in the morning and then again in the afternoon. We then got to volunteer our time at the Children's Hospital where we built wooden boats out of tongue depressors and beads.
Day 2--SNOW DAY!! We got to go up to The Summit at Snoqualmie and learn how to Cross Country Ski. The folks up there treated us to a 30 minute lesson and then let us loose on the slopes. This day was the highlight of the trip.
